It helps enormously if you say whether you are signing a document or sending one, and include any reference shown on the page you were looking at. Please do not email passwords or card details — we will never ask for either.
Email supportIf you were asked to sign
There is a fuller guide at what CoreSign is, including how to check a request is genuine.
I was asked to sign something and I do not recognise the sender.
Do not sign it. The signing page names the sender and shows their email address — if that does not resolve it, contact them using details you already had, not details from the email. You can also write to us and we will tell you whether the request came from us.
The document will not load, or I only see a blank area.
A page that does not load says so; tap it to try again. If it still will not load, decline and tell the sender — do not sign a document you cannot read. If you tell us the reference from the page we will look into why it failed to render.
I do not want to sign electronically.
You are not obliged to. Consent to sign electronically is a separate, explicit step and you can decline it. Ask the sender for a paper copy — that right is part of why the consent step exists.
I signed and I need a copy.
A copy is available to download when signing completes, and a link is emailed to you. If you no longer have it, ask the sender — they hold the completed document. We can help you reach them.
I think I signed something by mistake.
Contact the sender immediately; they are the other party to the agreement and only they can release you from it. We can confirm what was recorded and when, but we cannot undo an agreement between two other people.
If you send documents
How do I know a signer actually read the document?
No service can know that someone read a page. The certificate of completion records that every page reached the signer’s screen — they cannot sign until it has — alongside their consent and signature. Where a step was never recorded, the certificate says so explicitly rather than leaving the line out.
Can I change a document after sending it?
No. Once a document is out for signature its content is fixed — that is what makes the eventual seal meaningful. Void it — everyone it was sent to is emailed that it was withdrawn, with your reason — and send a corrected one.
What if a signer never responds?
CoreSign reminds whoever’s turn it is: an email 3 days after their last one, up to three times, and once more when 2 days are left. Reminders are on by default; you can turn them off for a document, and set the default for new documents in your Profile. You can also send the signing email again yourself before the deadline. If the deadline passes, the document is marked Expired and we email you once, saying who signed and who did not. It has already counted toward your monthly allowance; to try again, send a fresh one.
Can I get my documents out?
Yes, and you should. Download the signed document, its certificate of completion and its sealed record, and keep your own copies. They can be checked on their own merits, which is precisely the point of sealing them.
Can I ask a signer for their title or company?
Yes. Add a text field, type the question — “Title”, for example — and choose whether it must be answered. Each signer sees only their own questions. The answer is one line of up to 200 characters, printed in its box, listed on the certificate of completion, and sealed with the question.
Can CoreSign find where the signatures go?
It can suggest them. In the template editor, “Find fields for me” reads the PDF’s own text and lines — inside CoreSign; the document is not sent anywhere else — and suggests boxes for signatures, names, dates, initials and titles, on up to 60 pages. You keep, move or remove each suggestion. A scanned PDF has no text to read, so nothing is found.
How big can a document be?
A PDF of up to 50 MB and 200 pages, with up to 500 fields and up to 25 signers.
How do I delete my account?
From your Profile page in the app, or at sign.coresignapp.com/delete-account, with no sign-in needed. We email you a link to confirm, and the account is deleted fourteen days later; until then, you can cancel. What is deleted and what is kept
